Beaver Lake Trail (Tongass National Forest) starts within Sawmill Creek Campground, 7 miles southeast of Sitka off Sawmill Creek Road, then graveled Blue Lake Road. A family-friendly loop through old-growth hemlock, spruce, and yellow cedar with about 250 ft of elevation gain circles the lake.
