Other places to fish at Eagle Lake

North end (Bucks Point, Rocky Point, Troxel Point)

Best in spring and early summer before trout push into the deeper south basin; shore and boat anglers work points, tules, and rock structure. (bestfishinginamerica.com, accessed September 29, 2026)

South basin springs (Miners Point, Eagle's Nest)

Summer trolling water; underwater springs and rock piles hold trout in cooler deep water, often worked with downriggers or streamers. (wildlife.ca.gov, accessed September 29, 2026)

Highway 139 shoreline

Reliable shore-fishing stretch on the northeastern side; nightcrawler under a slip bobber or PowerBait are common presentations. (bestfishinginamerica.com, accessed September 29, 2026)

Airport Tules and marina jetty

Heavily fished north-end tule beds and the rock jetty by the marina; float-tube and shore anglers work them especially in fall. (bestfishinginamerica.com, accessed September 29, 2026)
