A 13-acre alpine lake in Bishop Creek Canyon, Inyo National Forest, ringed by aspens at about 9,300 feet. Motors are not allowed; anglers use float tubes or small hand-launched rowboats. North Lake Campground half a mile away has 11 tent sites, vault toilets, and no piped water. No RVs or trailers.
