This is the Upper Sacramento's wade-fishing water through the railroad town of Dunsmuir, with roadside pull-offs at Cantara Loop, Dunsmuir City Park, and Scarlett Way. Castle Crags State Park, just downstream, gives another well-marked access point below the granite spires.
