Colorado Springs Utilities reservoir on Pikes Peak Highway near mile marker 6, in Cascade. 3.31 miles of shoreline for trout fishing, non-motorized boats and seasonal kayak/paddleboard rentals only, no swimming (drinking water source). ADA access and restrooms on site, $5 fishing fee for adults.

Fishing Crystal Creek Reservoir

Licensed fishing is permitted in Crystal Creek Reservoir, which is a stunning 136-acre lake in the North Slope Recreation Area. The lake is well stocked with easy angling for rainbow, cutthroat, lake, brown, and brook trout. Fishing is permitted both from a boat and along the 3-mile shoreline, and the visitor’s center offers bait and tackle for sale.
