A Bureau of Reclamation storage forebay on the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project, fed by an 11-mile conduit from Turquoise Lake near Leadville. Water is held here to build head before dropping to the Mount Elbert Power Plant at the base of Mount Elbert, near Twin Lakes.
