Small alpine-corridor lake in the Eagle River valley between Vail and Minturn. No developed facilities at the lake itself, and motorized boats aren't allowed. Dispersed camping is available in the surrounding national forest.

Fishing Wilmor Pond
Wilmor Lake, a small alpine lake tucked into the mountains of Eagle County, Colorado, offers modest fishing prospects. Anglers who make the effort may find brook trout or cutthroat in the cold, clear water typical of alpine lakes in this part of the Rockies. The lake is stocked with catchable trout, and fly fishing with small nymphs or dry flies during summer can produce bites when conditions are right.

What to watch for
