About Kentucky Lake
KDFWR documents largemouth and smallmouth bass, black and white crappie, redear sunfish, striped bass, white bass, and sauger on Kentucky Lake. The lake covers 117,874 total acres; 55,025 lie in Kentucky across Marshall, Calloway, Lyon, Livingston, and Trigg counties on the impounded Tennessee River. A canal connects neighboring Lake Barkley so anglers can run between the two. Land Between the Lakes, a 170,000-acre preserve, lines the eastern shore.
