About Lake Mohave

NDOW has placed fish-attracting structures in less than 35 feet of water across eight named coves: Box, Bass. At up to 30,000 surface acres and 64 miles long. with a maximum depth of 120 feet and water levels that typically swing 15-20 feet a year. The upper 20 miles run through Black Canyon, kept cold year-round by Hoover Dam releases. while the rest of the lake runs warmer and more open. Solicitor, Carp, Princess, Prospect, Shoshone, and Arrowhead. Lake Mohave is a Colorado River reservoir between Hoover and Davis dams.
