DEC's Lower Dam Hand Launch off Lower Dam Road accesses a spring-only whitewater canoe route below Lows Lower Dam, with carries at Split Rock Falls and Winding Falls; the calmer stretch below Round Lake Outlet to Bog River Falls near Tupper Lake offers about 1.8 miles of flat water.
