Fishing Little Delaware River

The Little Delaware River supports wild brown trout and brook trout populations, supplemented by the annual stocking of about 700 brown trout yearlings. These fish are stocked in a 0.8-mile zone at the river's mouth and a 1.2-mile zone downstream of Bovina Center. While brown trout are the dominant wild trout in the stream, large amounts of brook trout can also be found upstream of Bovina Center.
