Remote wilderness lake in the West Canada Lake Wilderness, reached via an 8-mile hike on the French Louie Trail from the Pillsbury Mountain trailhead. Two lean-tos and a primitive tent site sit on the shore; baitfish are banned on all wilderness waters here.

Fishing West Lake

West Lake, located west of the Hamlet of Canada Lake, offers fishing opportunities. Anglers can find various species here, including pickerel, black bullhead, white sucker, rock bass, carp, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed sunfish. A state owned hard surface ramp off Point Breeze Road provides access to the lake.
