Birch Creek Reservoir is a BLM day-use fishing access site 10 miles west of Woodruff off SR-39, at the foot of the Monte Cristo Mountains. Access is walk-in only with non-motorized watercraft only, public parking and toilets on site, no fees charged. Known for tiger trout.
