Reached via the Clear Creek Lake Trail (#4100) in the Gros Ventre Wilderness, Bridger-Teton National Forest: about 4.6 miles from the Gros Ventre River Trail junction, climbing from 8,346 to 9,038 feet at the lake. No road access.

What to watch for
The trail to Clear Creek Lake includes boggy areas and is overgrown with willows in spots. Anglers should also exercise caution on a section of the trail that climbs steeply across a bench right above a large cliffed out area, as the trail comes very close to the cliff edge.
