Alaska State Recreation Site in Thompson Pass, 24 miles north of Valdez off Richardson Highway mile 25 (1-mile side road). The high alpine lake has excellent grayling fishing, plus 25 campsites, picnic shelters, and berry picking in season; wheelchair accessible.

Fishing Blueberry Lake

At Blueberry Lake State Recreation Site, the high alpine lake offers excellent grayling fishing. This site is located in spectacular Thompson Pass, 24 miles north of Valdez. The park is found at the large switchback before descending into Keystone Canyon.
