State wildlife area beside US 550, about a mile south of Molas Pass and seven miles south of Silverton. Paved parking and a paved trail circle the lake. Only hand launched vessels allowed, no motors or trailered boats. Camping is closed within a quarter mile of shore through 2027.

Fishing Andrews Lake
Andrews Lake is a Day Use Area, managed by the Colorado Division of Wildlife in partnership with the Forest Service. The lake is stocked each year with rainbow trout, offering fishing opportunities for anglers. The site provides 2 accessible fishing spots along a paved path that crosses the dam. A valid hunting or fishing license or SWA pass is required for visitors aged 16 or older.
