Fishing Sandy Creek

North and South Sandy creeks receive the largest runs of chinook salmon in the North Country. Salmon run up these tributaries to the first impassable barrier, and fishing can be found anywhere along that length. Steelhead also enter these streams around the middle of November and remain until they spawn in spring.
