Below Gray Reef Dam on the North Platte River, about 27-30 miles southwest of Casper. A barrier-free fishing pier, restroom, and primitive campground sit at the dam; a boat ramp and parking lot are a half mile downstream. No entrance fee.

Fishing Gray Reef Reservoir
Gray Reef Reservoir, near Casper, Wyoming, offers fishing with available species including brown trout, cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, and walleye. Rainbow and cutthroat are stocked in the river below Gray Reef Dam. Fish are not stocked in the reservoir. Anglers can use a barrier-free fishing pier at Gray Reef Dam or launch canoes from the primitive campground below the dam. A boat ramp is also located one-half mile downstream.
