Public boat ramp, dock, and eight slips (two day use, six reservable through Hinsdale County) on the lake's west side. Shore fishing near the outlet and along County Road 33 at Wupperman Campground, which also has camping. Near Lake City in the San Juan Mountains.

Fishing Lake San Cristobal
Lake San Cristobal is a very clean and well-kept lake, stocked with Rainbow Trout. A variety of trout live in its cold waters. Anglers can fish from public access areas along the shore, including near the lake outlet and at Wupperman Campground on County Road 33. It is also possible to float your boat and fish from the surface. Boats, including fishing boats, are available for rent from local businesses. A public boat ramp is located on the west side of the lake.
