McCall Lake Nature Area (City of Longmont) is free and open to the public with good shoreline access for fishing. Only non-motorized carry-on boats like canoes and kayaks are allowed, PFDs required. Primitive restroom on site. No camping or swimming. About 3 miles east of Lyons on Highway 66.

Fishing McCall Lake

McCall Lake is a 35-acre reservoir offering great shoreline access for fishing. Anglers might catch bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish, wiper, and trout. Non-motorized carry-on boats are permitted, including canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, belly boats, sailboards, sailboats, and small boats that can be carried to the lake. Lifejackets or personal flotation devices are required for each person on board any type of watercraft.
