Fishing Lake Missaukee

Lake Missaukee is popular among fishermen, with common fish including bluegill, black crappie, brown bullhead, large and smallmouth bass, pumpkinseed, northern pike, walleye, and yellow perch. Rare sightings of common carp also occur. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources stocks walleye and routinely monitors fish populations. Lake Missaukee has numerous Master Angler Entries, including a northern pike caught at 19.67 pounds and 40 inches long.
