Fishing Eighteenmile Creek

Eighteen Mile Creek is popular with anglers targeting Lake Erie steelhead during their spawning runs, which occur from mid-October to early May. Brown trout are also pursued year-round. Fishing access includes 1.4 miles of "public fishing rights" easements and 2.5 miles within Eighteen Mile Creek County Park. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation annually stocks the creek with fish, including steelhead and brown trout. A parking lot on South Creek Road also offers fishing access along the creek.
