Fishing Red House Brook

Red House Lake is a 110 acre man-made lake within Allegany State Park. It is stocked each spring with yearling brown trout and often receives larger hatchery breeder trout in the fall. The lake's trout fishery is primarily a put-and-take operation, as there is little holdover of trout. Ice fishing for trout is permitted. Largemouth bass are also abundant in Red House Lake and show average growth rates.
