Boat ramp, parking, and restrooms sit on the southeast shore near Cross Creek Campground, which also has the closest camping. No drinking water on site. The boating access is free year round, 6am to 8pm, near South Fork on Highway 160.

Beaver Creek Reservoir is a popular outdoor destination for fishing in Rio Grande County, Colorado, and is stocked regularly by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, which generally allows for great fishing conditions. CPW typically maintains a healthy population of trout and kokanee salmon in the water. Anglers can fish year-round, as access remains open for ice fishing in the winter, either from a boat or along the shore at designated fishing sites.

What to watch for
