Echo Canyon Reservoir SWA in Archuleta County has a diverse fishery, Colorado's state record largemouth bass came from here, plus green sunfish, catfish, crappie, perch, and trout for younger anglers. Boat ramp and restrooms on site, built by the Division of Wildlife in 1968.

Echo Canyon Reservoir offers a diverse fishery including trophy sized largemouth bass, from which the state record came out. There are abundant angling opportunities for kids, targeting green sunfish, catfish, crappie, perch and trout, and for the serious trophy angler, focusing on largemouth bass. Common species available are Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Green Sunfish, Channel Catfish, Black Crappie, and Yellow Perch.
