Douthat State Park's 60-acre fee fishing lake. A daily permit ($8) is required roughly the first Saturday in April through June 15 and September 15 through October 31; no permit is needed off-season, when no trout are stocked. A children-only area sits on Wilson Creek just below the dam.

Fishing Douthat Lake

Douthat State Park offers trout fishing in its 60-acre stocked lake and 4 miles of Wilson Creek. Trout are stocked two times per week throughout the fee period, with a single stocking of a double load in the final week. This period runs from the first Saturday in April through June 15 and again from September 15 through October 31. Fishing begins at 6:00 a.m daily, except on opening day when it starts at 9:00 a.m. A small children-only area is located on Wilson Creek below the dam.
