Fishing Duck Lake

Duck Lake is a small shallow lake located in the town of Conquest, Cayuga County. Fish species present in the lake include largemouth bass, tiger musky, northern pike, black crappie, bluegill, pumpkinseed sunfish, yellow perch, common carp, and brown bullhead. Duck Lake is stocked annually with approximately 700 tiger musky. There is public access with fee at Duck Lake Campground.

What to watch for

There is very abundant rooted aquatic vegetation throughout the lake. Because the lake is extremely vegetated, using weedless lures is highly recommended for the largemouth bass and tiger musky.
