How do you get on Delta?

Shore fishing is available, there is no boat ramp, and a fee is required. The nearest town is Monte Alto. Facilities include restrooms. Delta Lake has no public boat ramp and the irrigation district that owns it has no plans to add one over liability concerns. Shore access is limited to Delta Lake Park's pier and two bridge crossings, and is further restricted by dense bulrush and cattail.
