What to watch for

Anglers should be aware that Pine Lake contains invasive species, specifically Banded Mystery Snail and Eurasian Water-Milfoil. The lake is considered a mesotrophic lake, indicating increased vegetation as well as occasional algal blooms. Additionally, groundwater contamination from fertilizer, manure, and pesticides from local agriculture enters the watershed.
