This 1,000-plus-acre lake spans three park units: South Unit camping and swim beach, Forest Drive's 18-hole disc golf and multi-use trails, and a dedicated Boat Ramp Unit. Two ADA fishing access points, including Brook Brown Memorial. Eleven miles northwest of Aberdeen; $10-$15 daily fee.

Richmond Lake is "known for its fishing opportunities." "The Boat Ramp Unit offers convenient access to the over 1,000-acre lake" there. The South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks agency states it "has fishing areas with structures or piers to allow access." "Accessible fishing piers have been installed in a number of state parks across South Dakota," including "Richmond Lake (near Aberdeen)," and "These floating piers feature low railings, accessible ramps, sidewalks and nearby parking." Anglers can also use "Richmond Lake - Brook Brown Memorial Access (near Aberdeen)."
