Fishing Intermediate Lake

Intermediate Lake is an integral part of the 75-mile-long Elk River Chain of Lakes Watershed in Michigan, as the Intermediate River empties into it. The lake's outlet then converges with the Cedar River, increasing in volume. For most of its length, this chain of lakes, including Intermediate Lake, is navigable by small boat, providing access for anglers. Historically, many resorts on the major lakes within this system specifically catered to fisherman.
