Lake Bellaire is a 1,700-acre lake, part of the Elk River Chain of Lakes Watershed, which is a 75-mile-long waterway with numerous lakes and connecting rivers. Scores of resorts have cropped up on the shorelines of the major lakes in this system, catering to fisherman.
