Neshonoc Lake is a DNR-designated flowage with two public ramps. The West Salem ramp has gravel access with limited parking, and the Swarthout Park ramp in the Town of Hamilton adds a vault restroom and dock.

What to watch for

Anglers should be aware of invasive species such as Curly-Leaf Pondweed, Japanese knotweed, and Purple Loosestrife. Additionally, the Neshonoc South Boat Ramp features a steep, gravel entrance/exit road and limited parking. At Neshonoc Swarthout Park Boat Ramp, there is no parking at the launch site, only unlined, lawn parking at the entrance.
