Sevenmile Lake straddles Forest and Oneida Counties. The Forest County (US Forest Service) landing charges a vehicle fee, about $5, and has a vault toilet; the Town of Three Lakes landing on the west side has a boarding dock but no restroom.

Fishing Sevenmile Lake

Sevenmile Lake is a 518 acre lake with a maximum depth of 43 feet. Fish species present include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. The lake bottom consists of 70% sand, 5% gravel, 5% rock, and 10% muck. Visitors can access the lake from public boat landings.

What to watch for

An invasive species, Rusty Crayfish, is present in Sevenmile Lake. Anglers should note there is a narrow corridor to the launch, which may make turning to back a trailer difficult. Also, the transition to the boarding dock is not ADA accessible.
