Fishing Lake of the Woods

Lake of the Woods provides fishing for both warm/coolwater and coldwater species. Anglers can target Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Atlantic Salmon, Lake Whitefish, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Black Crappie, and Yellow Perch. Northern pike greater than 24 inches have been taken, and catches of lake trout up to 28 inches and salmon up to 22 inches have been reported. Ice fishing is permitted for lake trout, salmon, pike, and panfish. The lake is annually stocked with lake trout and Atlantic salmon.
